Your New Role
We are currently looking for an Indirect Procurement Buyer to join the European procurement team of one of our global clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, international organization with a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and strategic procurement.
As an Indirect Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for managing one or two key indirect procurement categories across Europe, with a primary focus on IT Software and HR Services. You will play an important role in developing supplier relationships, leading sourcing activities, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring procurement excellence across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships within assigned indirect procurement categories across Europe.
Lead supplier negotiations across multiple locations using modern e-sourcing tools and methodologies.
Drive sourcing projects and execute RFQs through the Ariba procurement platform.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while supporting procurement strategy and business objectives.
Promote the use of preferred supplier agreements to maximize value and ensure compliance.
Analyze spending, pricing, and market data to identify negotiation opportunities and sourcing improvements.
Collaborate closely with local, regional, and global procurement teams to successfully implement procurement programs and initiatives.
Identify opportunities to consolidate spending and optimize contract volumes across business units.
Gain a strong understanding of internal processes and systems to support continuous process improvements and increase system efficiency.
Escalate supplier performance matters to Category Management and process or system improvement opportunities to Procurement Excellence.

Scope of employment: Full-time, 100%
Type of contract: Fixed-term employment as a consultant via JobBusters.
Working model: Office location in Mölndal. Hybrid working model with two days of remote work per week.
Start date: 2026-10-01, a later start date may be discussed for the right candidate.
End date: 10–12 months, covering parental leave
Other information: We review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis. However, our client will begin reviewing shortlisted candidates in early August, with final interviews expected to take place around mid-August.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
At least 2 years of experience within Indirect Procurement.
Hands-on experience sourcing IT Software and HR Services.
Experience working with sourcing tools and procurement systems, preferably SAP Ariba.
Comfortable working across multiple procurement categories and collaborating with stakeholders in an international environment.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
