Project Engineer
Your New Role
We are now looking for a Project Engineer – Feasibility Study (Autoclave Installation) to join our client's team in Uppsala. In this key role, you will lead a feasibility study for the installation of a new autoclave/sterilizer system at a manufacturing site. This on-site assignment involves technical, operational, and financial assessments to define project scope, budget, and readiness for execution.
Your main responsibilities will include defining user and process requirements, assessing facility and utility readiness (steam, WFI, HVAC, power), coordinating with suppliers, and evaluating GMP/ISO compliance. You will also develop a preliminary schedule, cost estimate, and risk analysis, concluding with a feasibility report and recommendations for the next phase.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
5+ years of experience in facility/equipment projects within pharma or medtech
Experience with autoclaves or sterilization systems and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Strong understanding of GMP, clean utilities, and technical documentation
Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus)
Who You Are
You are a structured and solution-oriented engineer with strong coordination skills and a hands-on approach. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers. Your ability to communicate clearly and drive technical documentation will be essential to succeed in this project.
