Your New Role
Now, we are looking for a Buyer within IT to strengthen our client’s team.
In this role, you will take ownership of purchasing projects within IT and related areas. You will craft negotiation strategies, close deals with optimal terms, and ensure clear documentation of requirements. By conducting cost and scenario analyses, benchmarking, and risk assessments, you will play a key role in securing reliable suppliers and ensuring compliance, cybersecurity, and sustainability.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, supporting both your own purchasing initiatives and contributing to projects driven by others.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving and managing purchasing projects within IT, software, SaaS, and cybersecurity
- Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
- Supporting stakeholders with purchasing needs and requirements
- Conducting cost analyses, risk assessments, and compliance checks
- Documenting processes and ensuring clear communication throughout projects
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, ideally within IT/software/SaaS/cybersecurity.
- Proven track record of independently managing purchasing projects from start to finish
- Experience in purchasing processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management
- Comfortable working in administrative systems (e.g. purchasing/contract platforms)
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Meritorious: Experience working with suppliers and projects in India
- Meritorious: Background in international organizations or global projects
- Meritorious: Basic knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and sustainability in supply chains

Scope of employment: Full-time, 100%
Type of contract: Fixed-term employment as a consultant via JobBusters.
Working model: Hybrid solution; 1–2 days in the office in Gothenburg, the rest remotely.
Start date: 2025-10-13
End date: 2026-10-09, with the possibility of extension
