Your New Role 

Are you a senior professional with a strong strategic mindset and a passion for driving technology management in a dynamic, cross-functional environment? We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to support strategic technology management activities for a leading international automotive company in Södertälje.

In this high-impact role, you will work closely with leadership teams across multiple business areas, playing a key part in strengthening strategic governance and innovation capabilities. You will be responsible for coordinating strategic initiatives, ensuring operational alignment, and facilitating decision-making forums at the highest organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operative work within Strategic Technology Management, with a focus on Core/Non-core technology activities and Research & Innovation initiatives.
• Contribute to the implementation and operationalization of governance frameworks in alignment with corporate strategy.
• Plan, set up, and moderate cross-functional meetings and decision forums involving senior stakeholders.
• Document, communicate, and follow up on strategic decisions, actions, and technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate closely with leadership across departments such as R&D, Innovation, Production, Procurement, and Strategy to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Facilitate strategic workshops, innovation planning sessions, and cross-domain dialogues.
• Act as a key interface between functions, ensuring alignment on strategic technology topics and priorities.

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or finance with technical background.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Fluent in English. Swedish and/or German would be good in addition.
• Proven track record in strategic management, governance, and innovation planning.
• Willingness and ability to work partially onsite in Södertälje, Sweden. 

Who You Are 

You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership. Ability to operate independently and take ownership of complex topics.
